Dear forest visitors,

for many people the forest represents one of the most frequently used and most diverse recreational areas in our landscape and is therefore of particular value.

In order to improve the recreational performance in the forests which managed by Sachsenforst in the forestdistrict Neustadt, we are currently developing a recreation and visitor concept. The forest district Neustadt includes the forest areas in Saxon Switzerland outside the national park forest district as well as forest areas in the south of West Lusatia and on the eastern outskirts of Dresden (e.g. Pillnitz). The aim is to ensure sustainable development of the state forest with all its diverse functions and to minimize any conflicts.

But what does recreation in the forest mean to you? What is your motivation, what might bother you and what wishes do you bring with you when you visit the forest?

To find out, we ask you to fill out the following questionnaire. The survey is to be conducted anonymously and without registration.

Recreation and visitor concept for the forest district of Neustadt - Recreation in the forest

The survey is carried out as part of the development of a "recreation and visitor concept" by SACHSENFORST for the forest district Neustadt. The forest district Neustadt includes the forest areas in Saxon Switzerland outside the national park forest district as well as forest areas in the south of West Lusatia and on the eastern outskirts of Dresden (e.g. Pillnitz).

When answering the questions, we ask you to refer to a specific forest area. In this way we can recognize local peculiarities and ensure a needs-oriented development of the recreational services in our forests.

The following question will guide you to the selection of your forest district.

Project processing will end in December 2023. The data will be kept until then and will be deleted by December 31, 2023 at the latest.
