The Urban Planning and Mobility Office would like to continue improving the quality of life in Friedrichstadt with a range of social facilities and opportunities. In recent years, numerous buildings and open spaces have been renovated to drive positive development in various areas of the district.

Now the City of Dresden would like to submit an application for Friedrichstadt to be included in the “Sustainable Social Urban Development – European Social Fund Plus (2021 – 2027)” funding programme (ESF Plus). The European Union and the Free State of Saxony will use the funding programme to finance social facilities and opportunities (e. g. family counselling centres, sports facilities, educational facilities, self-help bicycle workshops and communal gardens). In the interest of drafting the funding application and selecting suitable facilities and opportunities, the area will now be examined more closely with your help.

All citizens are invited to participate in a survey from 4 February to 4 March 2022. Please let us know how you view the current situation in Friedrichstadt and which social facilities and opportunities you would like to see in the local area.
